isuzu mu brake lines

Postby Carrickb » Wed May 09, 2012 10:06 pm

hi all,
I have noticed that the rear brake lines on my isuzu mu hang down, what seems to me to be awfully low to the ground (almost as low as the rear diff).
With this in mind i went four wheel driving last weekend in soft sand. After the 4x4 session was finished i was checking out the car before i went back onto the main roads and i noticed that both rear brake lines had been pushed out of their brackets. i had to realign the left one back into the bracket and cable tie up the right one as it looked a lot closed to the ground/wheel than before.

Has anyone else had any issues like this?

can you take a picture of the offending parts. They should be clamped to the front of the spring

I assume that you are talking about your handbrake cables and not your hydraulic brake lines?
