Looks correct, very similar to the fuel hose on my Mu.

Just had a look at my ubs55 bighorn and this hose is definitely molded rubber. PVC might be the current replacement as the size seems correct. I would want to make sure its suitable for fuel before useing though by asking a local hose supplier although they might tell you how much they sell the same hose for. Diesel is nowhere near as harmful on plastic hoses as petrol.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

That’s just the protector that goes over the hose
