Hi there,
A few months ago I was towing a fully loaded twin axle trailer with firewood from Matamata over the Kaimais. On top of the hill when it goes down again, the auto transmission did not shift into the highest gear for a minute or so. I slowed down and then it went fine again.
I thought, over-heating. Be careful next time.
Two days ago I was towing up a small trailer with only a few items up the same road. I went up with moderate speed. Again, on top the hill when it goes down, same thing happened again. For 1 minute or so the trans did not shift into highest gear.
Same happened when I was driving for 3 hours and went up the same road, but without a trailer.
Is there something wrong with my gearbox? I had it serviced 30k ago.
Or is it just the way it is and you just need a transmission oil cooler added?
Thanks guys.
