That was (and still is) an impressive rig. I hunted him down via facebook a couple of years back. He still has that truck although it now has a 3.8 Holden v6 under the bonnet. I wont publish any details to help others find him due to privacy concerns.

I thought he might of put a supercharged v6 in it or a LS1 now that would top it off for a build.
I have been going through the old site looking for info and came across the thread on his build and thought i would share it what can be done with the old Isuzus .

Alan I remember another build on a jackaroo replaced the the 4jx1 engine and gear box with a 4jjj1 or a 4jh1 out of a stat write off dmax and he installed all of the dmax dash and wiring in to the jackaroo as well.
There are some clever people with ideas out there even remember someone done a sas in a jackaroo as well looked real good.
I wouldn't mind seeing a LS1 in a wizard that would be fun to drive there was someone who dropped the v8 toyota engine into a frontera dont know how that turned out.

ls1 and earlier 350 in a trooper has been done many times but most of them end up 2wd road warriors. Very few have retained the front diff
