Raer crankshaft oil seal & timing belt

Postby andy120 » Wed Jun 15, 2016 8:04 am

Any words of wisdom regards getting the rear oil seal on? I have the bearing cap off. I cannot find the timing for the belted version in the manual. Anyone know what it should be?

Look in technical FQA section and you will find it in timing belt.

Re the rear oil seal, A very experienced Isuzu mechanic suggested not using the Isuzu seal since they have to be dead square or they leak heavily. Instead use a common lip/U cup seal (BNT has).
