PCV replacement

Postby dickytim » Mon Jul 16, 2012 5:11 am

When I had the rocker cover off on my Big Horn 4JG2 I took the PCV off to inspect the diaphram to ensure it was still in good condition, unfortunately since that point I have been ejecting oil from the top end of the engine under great pressure.

I assume I have missed something when I have reinstalled it, or I have in fact damaged it.

Is there anything to watch for with these, I am ordering a new one from Holden today.

Is there a special way to line these up when installing them?

Does anyone have an exploded diagram showing how it all sits together?

Is it simply the diaphram and cover or are there springs etc involved as well?

All help to get my Bighorn back on the road would be appreciated!
