4JG2 STARTING

Postby JBjunior » Wed Jul 31, 2019 5:50 am

Good day. I have a 4JG2-T that has been sitting for about 18 months and now won't start. I think the culprit is dirty injectors so I have removed them and I am going to clean them up as an entire unit (no disassembly) with acetone. Assuming this doesn't work, does anyone have any information about disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly?

Overall, anything to be concerned about when re-installing the injectors after cleaning? Anything to line up, etc.?

Does anyone have a part number for the injectors?

Any help is appreciated.

There is a dot on the injectors. Make sure its in the same place as now. I would be doing a few other tests first ie cut off solinoid etc
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Thanks. We already did all of those tests and injectors are the last one.

Injectors are clean and ready to be re-installed. Does anyone have a diagram/manual of the order of parts to ensure they are installed properly?
