Urgent Help!
I have a 2014 2wd manual Isuzu DMax eith 142xxx kms on the clock. When in idle (and generally when the car is warm), the ute makes a loud crunching type noise. When I push the clutch in, the noise goes away.
Have taken to a mechanic who said gearbox bearing is collapsed so need a new gearbox & would put a new clutch in too.
Went to a Gearbox specialist for another opinion, they said it is not the gearbox at all, it is only the clutch that needs replacing due to a clutch bearing.
Anyone else have a similar problem and what was the outcome?? I dont want to replace something that doesn't need replacing!
Cheers!
