Gas Conversion

Postby Splinter » Wed Feb 10, 2010 7:27 am

I am looking at adding LPG gas system [120 ltr tank ] to my 1998 petrol Jackaroo. The gas bloke tells me that there will not be any loss of power nor will there be any engine problems related to the addition as the system to be installed will be a fuel injection type. I am looking at towing a caravan and therefor looking for longer range. Has anyone done this addition and if so, any problems to worry about?

120 liters will give only a slight increase in range over the 83 liter petrol tank. Biggest worry is availability of gas. You casnt just pour a can in on the side of the road. How big is Tasmainia
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
