it seems to run out of fuel after about 15 mins of use. ?

My guess would be an air leak somewhere in the fuel line between the tank & the pump - had something similar with a faulty primer pump on my old 4JB1-T - pump it up and get it running and a few miles down the road it fizzed out - in this case I fixed it eventually by sealing where the inlet side tube joined the primer with epoxy putty.
