4JB1 Injector pump conections

Postby DaryleNZ » Thu Apr 24, 2014 7:38 pm

Pump conections.jpg

There are normally electrical connections on the 4JB1 injector pump in a manual truck
I have added #1 which was on the 4JG2 in an auto truck.
In the auto truck that I have taken the dead 4JG2 out of and installed my good 4JG1 there is no connection for the one marked #4
Does anyone know what each of these do ?

"what that does geeves might know "

Why does everyone keep on picking on me

I concur on the TPS though. Not used on a manual truck.

Thanks for the quick response -
so is the quick warmup some sort of heater?
and as I have fitted this moter into a truck with an auto box a added #1 as from what I could work out it is connected to the "Auto control unit"

That's right now I remember the 4jb1 pump on my pump only has 3 connections taco fuel cut off and warm up and is different to a 4jg2 pump.
I only connected the taco and fuel cut off wires when I put the 4jb1 engine in.

Isuzurob put a 4gj2 pump into a 4jb1 a few years ago he might have some advise. It may need the fuel rate etc setting up properly
