No low beam

Postby nzshooter » Sun Jul 13, 2014 7:11 am

Hi, I realise this topic has been addressed however my situation is slighty different. No low beam, however park lights work, dash lights up. I have checked fuses, new relay and both new headlights. High beam works fine. My understanding is there is one relay for low and high beam so my problem must be in the wiring? If anyone can suggest where I start thanks

Nzshooter,

Often corrosion in the connectors can be elusive to find, but just have to check/clean vigorously with contact solution and wire brush. Another possibility, there may be an unobtrusive inline fuse in the wiring. Using your Isuzu Electrical manual as a guide, trace the wiring with a VOM/DMM (or even a test light) for the low beams, to make sure there's power at each point when the light switch is on. Try to find an Isuzu factory electrical manual for your specific truck on the internet as they can be an invaluable reference. Hope this helps,

Cheers,
