Hi,
I am have a intermittent fault, and the dealer can not see the fault when the vehicle is in with the dealer.
i purchased a..
OBD2 Tech2 USB Cable Auto Scanner Diagnostic Tool Interface For Opel Vauxhall

The first thing I noticed is it is not advanced as I would of though. I addition I can not get it to communicate, but I notice it has a BAUD rate of 10700, and it can not be changed? I suspect it is trying to communicate, but get rubbish. Laptops do 9600, next is 14400. Is 10700 standard in CHINA? There are a few you tubes of set up, but the baud rate is not addressed, and no one actually using the ODB2 TECH2 USB. The vehicle type in the graphic is a Frontera- B- mine vehicle is a "Holden(Isuzu) MX 4WD Year of manufacture August 2001"- I think is "B". But the baud rate is the big problem stopping communication? I think....

I wonder if any one else has used such a OBD device?

Hope some one can advise !
Cheers,
Peter.

only suggestion I have is did you install the driver to your pc as per instructions. It should automaticly set the usb port correctly
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Hi Alan, thanks- yes- I will go through the set up process again, and see if the BAUD rate gets set correctly. Hopefully I am missing something. Comments appreciated.
Cheers for now. Regards, Peter.
