Installing remote locking system

Postby Mutank » Wed Sep 22, 2021 3:45 pm

So trying to set this up in a 1997 Isuzu Wizard. The power supply is easy but making it unlock/lock is not working. I've found the wiring and it seems to be a positive trigger ( when I use the lock/unlock knob on the door it sends a 12v signal to my test light). I've tried all the configurations in the instructions but all I do is blow fuses. Any help please?

without looking at the wizard wiring diagram you might need a diode and or relay. This is the diagram for a bighorn but it should be the same except that the bighorn can be fully locked/unlocked from both key locks

Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Isn't a lot of stuff in Isuzu's negatively switched? Sort of back to front to most other cars.
