I have a 95 Isuzu Trooper "S", I have a UK Isuzu 4JGT Turbo Diesel installed. The Injection Pump had three wires, two were anti-theft after removing the cover off the Pump, I located the wire that allowed fuel to the engine, worked fine after that. Don't know if this helps but I'm in the States (Flagler Beach Florida)

You say that the 2 wires coming off the back of the pump are for the tach, does anyone know if they will make the gas motor tach in my dash work if hooked up??

wish I could help you my friend but wiring is not my thing, sounds like the shut off is the only single wire tho.
