Find a replacement front drive shaft / prop shaft

Postby liamhanigan » Thu Dec 18, 2014 5:09 pm

Hi,
My MU has a seized front prop shaft, I'm trying to track down a replacement so I can get it going before Xmas.
Can anyone confirm what other models will fit so I've got more options when I call the wreckers?
Pretty sure the UBS55 Holden Jackaroo / Trooper will fit, maybe rodeos too?

Do you mean the Ujoint? From memory it may have the same u joint as a Hilux so shouldnt be impossible to match

It's the front shaft between the transfer case and diff - I've managed to source one from a wrecker, so the MU is back in business.
