Stuck in 4wd Low.

Postby Brebner89 » Sun Jan 25, 2015 9:36 pm

Help.
I have a 05 izuzu dmax. 3.0 manual. Has the 3 buttons on the dash.
Went through some deep water while in 4wd low.
And is stuck in 4wd low. Buttons on dash do nothing.
Managed to change manually by taking the cover off the back of electric drive selector.
What can be the cause? Shorted out??
Thanks folks.

there are lots of things that can cause it to get jammed, low oil level in the front diff shift fork actuator, incorrect alignment of the gearsets, wiring issue, to reset the module hold all 3 buttons in for around 30 seconds or more and retry the 4x4 if it fualts again there is an issue

Thank you for your reply.
Will try resetting it when I can and check all the other suggestions.
All worth a go.
Any other specific things to look for would be greatly appreciated.
