Hey adhes,

I just got my 2008 Isuzu 240 LE. I'm also a bit concerned about the fuel consumption. what did you end up doing and did it work?

KB240 LE (Luxury Edition) has a 2,4 litre petrol Power Output 94kw@4800 Torque 207nm@3200.
Engine Layout longitudinal inline 4
Cylinders 4
Aspiration natural
Valves sohc 2 valves per cylinder
Bore / Stroke 87.5x100
Compression Ratio 9.6:1
Ignition Type electronic
Gearbox Details 5-speed manual
Number of Gears 5 manual.

most people are getting 17.4l/100 on highway doing 120km/h. this car has been designed for those who like power and not much worried much about fuel costs. the best way around is a diesel powered power plant KB250LE D -Teq which boosts are commendable Power Output of 85kw@3600 and a Torque of 280nm@180. this common rail diesel gives around 8.1l/100km at 120km/h. unfortunately it achieves this massive power output with the aid of an inter cooler and turbo and the obvious turbo lag and responsiveness below 1800rpm.
