Hi my Name is Hendrik, I live in Ashburton and am a keen 4 wheel driver. Bought my Mu as a stock standard vehicle and started to build it up to where it is today. I have joined the MC 4WD club, at first I was the laughing stock with my MU, but I have proved that a MU can do the thing.

Traction Aids: Auto Locker Front, Air locker rear

Communications/GPS:Hand held 2way radio
Dual Batteries:None
Engine: 2.8 TD intercooled
Exhaust:Standard no mufflers (upgrading to 3")
Sound system: Sony Deck, Pioneer 10" Sub and amp
External: Snorkle, Subaru Bonnett Scoop (intending to fit rock sliders)
Internal: Exhaust temprature Gauge and boost tap.
Others: Aircon converted to compressor with air tank, to supply airlocker and pressurize belhousing for water crossings.

Nice truck! How loud is the standard exhaust with no muffler? Will it pass a WOF? Considering removing mine. Cheers

Is it really loud though like for example can you talk to a passenger and does it drive you nuts on the highway?
That pic of you getting some oversteer is so awesome haha

Sweet truck bud!
What offset are the rims that you run with the Silverstones? im looking at buying some 15x8 but unsure of offset to get?? I will be running 33" tyres also. most likely the silverstones to, as they are a little cheaper than other brands. Or Maxxis Mudzilla's, which are 33x13.5. Any info would be great.
Cheers

Vehicle: Got my truck from a man in Jimboomba earlier this year. It's a reliable, re-painted red 1992 2.8l turbo diesel isuzu mu named Big Red. Found out after i bought my mu, is its engine was built in july, same month i was born along with the same year i was born, guess we are a perfect match as my fav colour is red too.

nice mu mate nice work. you coming up for the sheffield mud plug on sunday? ive entered my mu.

Nate in regards to tyres mudzillas clear well but road manners are horrible road noise is really loud. i not a fan of em. wont get much km's on the road with em either.
I just put my mates brand new maxis bighorns on my truck for sundays mud plug, so be interesting to see how they perform. I get to use them before he does.wood run my 34's but puts me in the open class with the big boys.
