A few months ago (may have been last year now I think about it!), I managed to drop both rear flaps at Woodhill, the first I noticed (because my mate was driving the MU while I took some pics) and chucked it in the back. The second mud flap I didn't come off and didn't realise it was missing until I was blasting all the mud off at home!

I've got spares but haven't got around to putting them on yet...

If I can get a WOF when I have flares, but no mud flaps, I'll happily leave them off, second trip in a row I've ripped one off!

Always the drivers side too.

Sometimes think about them for the front -rear passengers complain when mud and moo poo hit them in the head when I leave my window open

Hey,

The intercooler was made by Jarrad at TurboCare, down in Christchurch.
Good guy.
Same place as my turbo setup.

www.turbocare.co.nz

It's the factory end tanks, with a new bar and plate core tig welded in the middle. Bolts straight on.
I think he makes them to order.

Was about $700NZ from memory.

Cheers.

Haha yea they looked huge when I first put them on,

Now I'm used to them though and keep having thoughts about 34's or 35's...

But with the amount of rubbing I'm already getting and my bank account balance it ain't gonna happen!

Hey,
Well the difference between the intercooled and non-intercooled positions is just one bolt hole around.
So you can just unbolt the bolts on the back of the compressor housing, spin it around to the next bolt hole and do it back up again.
Some members have done this fine, but there is a ring of sealant in there, so when I did mine, I gave the turbo to the shop to rotate and reseal in the new position.
Cheers,
Andy

The MU looks great! Wish I had the TD.
I like the snorkel, I've never planned to get one since I don't like going in deep water. But I keep caking my intake filter with sand and having to rinse it almost every outing. So I'm wondering if it would be better with one since it would sit higher up and stop the engine bay air from entering.

Cheers :)

If your filter is getting super-dirty, I'd probably put a snorkel on, and also use a snorkel filter (slips over the top of snorkel head and reduces dust/sand intake)
