was really easy, sorta just made it as i went didnt have any plans or nething. just heated and bent it roughly were it had to be an it fitted up sweet as. goes from te front chassis cross member to the one just behind the sump.
all the mounts wer alredy there. its made out of 6mm checker plate wich is pritty tough once the bends were put in it.
ill get som better pic as soon as i can.

If you fit 35s you will get very proficient at changing cvs. (lots of practise) Only reliable way to 35s is a live axle swap with either a nissan patrol or 80 landcruiser. Both are lots of work

decided to stick with 33s, im suprised i havnt done a cv yet with them. would be way too higher geared with 35s i think. what do you reckon is best for 12.5 inch wide tyres? a 8 inch rim or 10? gna have to replace mine soon due to rust.
cheers

definitely 8
The way people drive has a lot to do with cv breakage. Get a wheel in the air with power on then drop it onto a hard surface is hard on cvs Do it with the wheels turned and its almost a guaranteed breakage
Because the half shafts are longer on the ubs69 bighorn they dont work through as much angle so less likely to break but it can be done

8 inch rims in my opinion! Because of the bead being held on tighter and the bulging sidewalls helping to bounce off things, less chance of damaging rim.

Looks nice but the price depends a lot on someone wanting to buy it at the same time as you sell. I would say anywhere between 4000 and 7000 but nicer trucks have sold for under 2k and worse ones for over 8k.
confused????

idle up is a knob not button. You turn rotate it to the speed you want

this is the button in question. i had been told it was an idle up and in my old 89 bighorn that is what it seemed to do. i fixed that by replacing the charge relay, but i believe that has already been done in this truck

That's the quick warm up switch. In very cold weather it will warm the motor up faster

That switch is supposed to be for fast warm up It works by restricting the exhaust when the engine is cold and this switch is operated. It might be that the 89 had this switch rewired to the aircon solenoid for to work as you describe. My 89 this switch does nothing and there is a hand throttle to the right of the steering wheel.
The chinese cvs explode on the slightest provocation. One member blew 5 in 3 weeks Not a happy chappy when they refused to accept a warranty repair on the 5th. Factory cv and no more issues

they mite fit but i wouldnt turn the wheel while driving haha, when i first fitted my 33s i had a 2inch body lift and they rubbed a fair bit wie turning, mostly wen hard lock and reversing. and my tires arnt even a true 33 inches.

i wouldnt bother with a cheap aftermarket fan on the intercooler, like the on in my picture. i put it on there for slow speed 4x4ing and difference was minimal, i am going to be putting a high power fan on it soon so il let you no how that goes, havnt had any thing on it for a fair wile now.

dont have swaybar in the back cos i broke it, and standard swaybar in front with no disconects, had both them out once and felt like it was gona tip over roung the slitest corner lol

find the mudders great for the price, get about 40-50k out the last set and the still had a good 5mm of tread left.
pritty good in the mud 2, goes some prity narly places
