The Auto in my 95 bighorn was doing this yesterday going over the hills to Kawhia and had been doing it on the flats as well when putting the foot down coming out of corners thought I had been sold a wagon with a crook transmission. Found this thread today and it related exactly to what I was experiencing so I went out and did it but got the missus to watch for the warning light to come on while adjusting the TPS then backed it off till it stopped flashing then took it for a test run, take off from a standing start is not so sluggish now and gear changing is way better no more long pauses before changing to the next gear, is now changing between 2500 and 3000RPM instead of 3500RPM. Thanks to the OP of the thread sharing the information.
