Wet arse makes em moan more
Changed the fuel filter yesterday. Then last night in town it died 4 times on me. So this morning I went back to work, dug around in the bin and found the oring that should have been on the bottom sediment trap thingy but was instead still stuck to the old filter
Handbrakes are annoying on these things. I adjusted mine until the lever felt great and moved what I thought would be a nice amount. After a short drive I adjusted it 3/4 of the way to where it had been to get rid of the sluggish response and funny smell from the rear
And a head scratcher for me was the front diff drain. Was sure I had the right bolt.... Look closer, great it's been out before and masses of goo used to seal it. Excess silicone blocking the drain hole
Next annoying issue I have is to figure out how to fix the broken L/H dash mount. It rattles like (EDIT) crazy and drive me nuts
Also going to get my oil gauge tested. It reads very low but the light never flicks on. Went for a 150k drive today so got it as hot as it will get and at idle gauge barely registers. Shows about 24-28 psi at 2000 rpm.
But, at least the drive went well. Picking up new ball joints tomorrow so will put new springs in and tweak the front bars to get it all sitting right and take it for a wheel alignment as that is definitely way out
