1993 Isuzu MU - remove rear - replace with soft top

Postby JessJeanOW » Thu Nov 04, 2021 3:21 pm

Heya,

Anyone know if it’s possible to remove the rear windows and roof top of a 1993 Isuzu MU so it is “semi convertible” let’s say. Hoping to get a soft top made so it can be like the Amigo model. Unable to get my hands on an amigo so seeing what i can do!

Thank you :)

Gen3 Mus had a soft top or fiberglass back. 89 mus had a ute back and could easily be converted. All the models in-between will require a few cut off blades in your grinder and advise from the certifier as to whether extra bracing is required

Thank you!

I’ll try find a certifier and get some tips as well.

Thanks again, good to hear it’s possible

Everything is possible. However are they all practical?
